Clean Streets LA Challenge - THANK YOU!
Over the last month, the West Los Angeles Sawtelle Neighborhood Council has been working hard to support Mayor Eric Garcetti's Clean Streets L.A. initiative led by the City of L.A.'s Bureau of Sanitation! Our Clean Streets L.A. plan focused on Education, Action, and Sustainability. We successfully had six community information events, four community clean up events and we launched the Green Team, which aims to improve livability and cleanliness on L.A. streets. Not to mention the hundreds of bags filled with trash!
First thank you to all the volunteers that came out on Saturday morning to help clean our streets and make our neighborhood beautiful. Finally, thank you to the City Departments, Partners, and Contributors that helped make our Clean Streets LA Challenge a success! Thank you for supporting your community!
