Rep. Bass Convenes Postal Inspectors, Post Office Manager at Westside Neighborhood Council Meeting

LOS ANGELES – Yesterday, the Office of Congressmember Karen Bass (D-Calif.) brought U.S. Postal Inspectors Lee Versoza and Christine Reins-Jarin to July’s Westside Neighborhood Council meeting to discuss mail service and theft issues. Terria Clausell, Manager of the Rancho Park Post Office, also joined the discussion to deliver updates and field questions about mail service in the area.

“My district office has been working hard to provide constituents of the 37th district with the most up to date information possible about their mail delivery process,” Rep. Bass said. “Issues of mail service and theft have greatly affected the Westside for too long, which is why I invited representatives of the postal office to speak. I hope that this meeting helped keep constituents informed about this continuing issue.”

“Congresswoman Bass provided the resources to address Westside Neighborhood Council stakeholders’ issues with the USPS,” Terri Tippit, Chair of Westside Neighborhood Council, said.

The Westside Neighborhood Council meeting is held monthly to discuss pressing local issues. For more information about services provided by the Office of Congressmember Karen Bass, click here.

First elected to Congress in 2010, Rep. Bass is serving her fourth term in Congress where she is Ranking Member on the House Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations Subcommittee.  Rep. Bass’ Congressional District includes Los Angeles and Culver City and was the 67th Speaker of the California Assembly from 2008-2010.
