Fill Out and Submit the Tree Order Form

DOWNLOAD Types of Trees (HERE)

Please fill it out completely in order to receive your trees.

We will ask you to tell us where in your yard you plan to plant each tree. It’s very important for us to know so that we can figure out how much energy your tree will save.

Please fill out all of the information in the boxes provided on the form. If you are not sure which way north is, you can look up your house on Google Maps. North will be at the top of the screen, oriented the same way as the diagram. We recommend planting your tree to the WEST, EAST, and SOUTH of your home for best shade cooling & energy efficiency!

Note that certain trees may not be available at the time of order. That is why it is so important to pick alternate choices.

Once you submit the form, our estimated delivery time frame is 5-6 weeks, if not sooner.

What Is Included?

You can receive a total of 7 shade trees delivered to your home. We do not offer fruit trees or palm trees as a part of this program. Your trees will arrive in a 5 gallon container - they are between 2-3 years old. Depending on the tree species, the height will vary from 3 feet tall to 8 feet tall.

You will also receive 2 tree stakes, 2 tree ties, and 2 fertilizer tablets for each tree.

Where Can I Plant?

Once you receive your trees, you can plant them on your property (front yard and back yard) - not the sidewalk or parkway (the area between the sidewalk and the street). That area is City property and requires a permit from the City of Los Angeles. If you are interested in having a tree in your parkway, please request one here:

Plant Your Trees to Cool Your Home

Did you know that your new trees can cool down your home and even save you money on your DWP bill?

If you plant your trees between 15 and 20 feet away from your home to the south and west sides, they will shade your house during the hottest part of the day. If you have air conditioning, it won't have to work as hard to keep you cool, which will save electricity and money!

Happy Planting!
