Suspect(s) pried a door  to the business and made entry, the suspect removed property from the location. 

1700 Amherst Ave.                              2-12-18 9:00 A.M & 5:00 P.M

Suspect(s) smashed the rear glass door and gained entry into the business.  The suspect removed property and fled the location.

2200 Amherst Ave.                              2-18-18 8:30 A.M & 12:30 P.M

Suspect(s) pried the victim’s front bedroom window and gained entry.  The suspect ransacked the residence and fled via the frontdoor.  It is unknow if any property was taken.

2000 Sawtelle Bl.                                 2-21-08 5:20 A.M

Suspect(s) smashed the front glass door and gained entry into the business.  The suspect removed cash and a cash register then fled the loction in an unknown direction.

BURGLARY/THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

12200 Santa Monica Bl.                                               2-21-18 12:30 P.M & 1:30 P.M

Suspect opened the victim’s locked trunk by unknown means and removed property.  The suspect fled the location with victim’s property.

2400 Federal Ave.                                           2-11-18 5:00 P.M & 2-12-18 7:00 A.M

Suspects entered the victim’s open garage and then opened the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed property.  The suspect fled the loction in an unknow direction with the victim’s property.

1900 Beloit Ave.                                              2-12-18 7:30 P.M & 2-13-18 12:40 A.M

Suspect(s) smahed the rear window to the victim’s vehicle.  The suspect fled the location with the victim’s property in an unknown direction.

11600 Nebraska Ave.                                      2-14-18 1:00 P.M & 3:30 A.M

Suspect(s) entered victim’s vehicle by unknown means and went through the glove box.  The suspect left the location N/N on a bicycle, it is unsure if any property was removed.

1800 Corinth Ave.                                           2-12-18 1:00 A.M & 2-14-18 6:00 P.M

Suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed property.  The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction.

1600 Barry Av.                                                            1-12-18 9:00 P.M & 1-13-18 9:00 A.M

Suspect(s) used an unknown type tool to remove the catalytic converter.  The suspect left the location with the victim’s property, no vehicle was observed leaving the location.

Suspect(s) pried victim’s vehicle door and gained entry.  The suspect fled the location with numerous items belonging to the victim.

Suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed property.  The suspect fled the location with the victim’s property in an unknown direction.

Suspect(s)  entered the open parking garage and smashed the victim’s windshield.  The suspect fled the location in an unknow direction with victim’s property.

1500 Armacost Ave.                                        2-19-18 9:00 P.M & 2-20-18 6:45 A.M

Suspect(s) entered the victim’s locked vehicle via unknown method.  The suspect fled the loction with the victim’s property.

Suspect(s) entered the victim’s unsecured vehicle and removed property.  The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction with victim’s property.

BICYCLE THEFTS

2000 Federal Ave.                                           2-13-18 5:00 P.M & 2-14-18 7:00 A.M

Suspect(s) removed the victim’s unsecured bicycle from the ground level balcony.  The suspect fled the location with the victim’s property.

1700 Armacost Ave.                                        2-15-18 6:30 P.M & 2-16-18 9:30 A.M

Suspect(s) entered the apartment courtyard which is not secured.  The suspect removed the bicycle and lock, the suspect fled the location with the victim’s property.

1600 S. Bundy Ave.                                        2-12-18 8:00 P.M & 2-13-18 5:30 A.M

Suspect(s) entered the parking structure to the victim’s apartment and removed a bicycle.  The suspect fled the location with the victim’s bicycle in an unknown direction.

THEFT

12000 Santa Monica Bl.                                               2-18-18 7:35 P.M

The suspect entered the business, jumped the counter and removed cigarettes.  The suspect fled the location on a bicycle, the witness chased the suspect and gaing control of the bike.  The suspect returned and brandished a semi automatic handgun and demanded his bicycle back. 

    Please be advised and keep in mind that your life, health and well-being are most precious.  Property can be replaced, it is not woth risking your life.

ARRESTS

We have made numerous arrests during the past two weeks,  many arrests have been for possession of narcotics and narcotics for sale.

We have taken several theft reports from this business, we have increased patrols in the area.  We have made arrests during the past two weeks from these businesses.
