Season Finale - Movies on the Lawn - Coco

On Friday evening at Stoner Park in West LA, a sizable crowd gathered to see the final "Movies on the Lawn." Little by little, locals moved onto the field equip with blankets and chairs. Some even carried picnic baskets. Meanwhile "Mixing Mike" and Chuck Chilla set up the projection gear, while local entities gave out pamphlets and more. Greg Ericksen, Arman Ghorbani, and Ron Migdal gave away popcorn, ice-cream, and glow bands. As the traces of sunlight faded over the trees and homes, Jay Handal took the mic, warmed up the crowd, and ushered in Coco. A big thanks goes out to Councilmember Mike Bonin, Department of Rec and Parks, LAPD, West Los Angeles Community Coalition, Steve Little, Gogo Squeeze and of course the WLASNC. We're planning some further movies before the end of the year and we'll see you then.
