This event is outside of our district, however it borders our district and some of you may be affected by what happens with our neighbors to the South.

Do you have questions about public safety here in Mar Vista? I’m hosting an event tomorrow to get you answers.

The Los Angeles Police Department and I are co-sponsoring a town hall meeting on public safety in Mar Vista tomorrow, November 13 at 6:30 pm, at Daniel Webster Middle School (11333 Graham Place, near Sawtelle and National boulevards).

At the event, you’ll hear from officials with LAPD, the city attorney’s office and the district attorney's office about crime trends, arrests, prevention strategies, neighborhood policing, and community public safety partnerships.

The event will begin with an informational presentation, and then panelists will take questions from the audience. You will have the chance to get information about and provide feedback on what’s being done and what needs to be done.
