On Sunday, the Outreach Committee set up at the WLASNC Tent and table at the West LA Farmer’s Market from 9AM-Noon. We set out informational flyers about the upcoming election filing deadline, general information about the council, a flyer for the MyLA311 app, a renter’s guide flyer, a neighborhood services directory, and more. We also handed out some WLASNC branded pens, mugs, hats, and pins as we engaged locals.

We were able to help two locals register with the City Clerk candidacy website and even completely registered one local for the WLASNC election for a potential seat on the Board. In addition, we engaged many other interested locals across various topics. Some had never heard of the Neighborhood Council, though we also saw some familiar faces who stopped by to talk about the latest happenings. It was great to get out on a beautiful day and engage with the community, and we look forward to doing more events like this. Thank you to the participating Committee members as well as locals who stopped by to chat. We hope to see you at our monthly Outreach meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month!
