WLASNC Presents: Renter's Rights Fair Sun May 5th 9-2 Civic Center

The West LA Sawtelle Neighborhood Council is hosting a Renter’s Rights Fair on Sunday May 5th from 9am to 2pm in the West LA Civic Center (1645 Corinth Ave. 90025) near the farmer’s market. The event is an opportunity for neighbors to get more informed about their rights as renters, especially given the recent increase of occurrences where individuals are being unlawfully evicted, subject to illegal rent increases, improper Ellis Act removals, etc. This will be a tabling fair open to the public to come get some specific questions answered or to just get more information and resources from government departments and non-profits about their rights as a tenant.
