The West L.A.-Sawtelle Homeless Task Force (WLASHTF) is beginning work in earnest -- it seeks a unified community approach and response to the homeless who are increasing in numbers around West Los Angeles, with the goal of helping those who are willing to take assistance to transition out of homelessness. To that end, the WLASHTF is participating in the 2015 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. 100 community volunteers are needed to assist in identifying all homeless individuals in our West L.A. neighborhoods! If you can help and would like to participate in this very important effort, please contact info@wlanc.com.
The date of the count is Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
Staging area will be the West Los Angeles Municipal building, in the West L.A. Sawtelle Neighborhood Council office:
1645 Corinth Avenue Room 103.2
L.A. 90025
Volunteer applications are availalbe in the office or you can sign up online: http://lahsa.nationbuilder.com/west_la
