Local historian and long-time resident of the Sawtelle neighborhood, Jack Fujimoto, will discuss the Japanese-American history of the neighborhood surrounding the West Los Angeles Library. Once the City of Sawtelle, and now officially known as "Sawtelle Japantown,” the neighborhood has a rich Japanese-American history dating back to the early 1900s.
