  1. Call to Order: Committee is 6 members, 4 are required for quorum.

    1. Members (Board of Directors): R. Migdal, J. Ross, E. Zahedani, A. Ransom, W. Chiu, C. Aranguri (stakeholder).

  2. Administrative: This is a regular meeting, not a special meeting, because it is held at its regularly scheduled time (per DONE’s virtual meeting requirements).

    1. Election of officers: Vice Chair - C.Aranguri, Secretary - J.Ross.

    2. Minutes: Mar. 10, Apr. 7 meeting.

  3. General Public Comment: Items not on the Agenda (1-minute minimum per speaker).

  4. Report: Review of notice of opening At-Large Seat in June and appointment of Monica Mejia-Lambert in July, to determine if Board complied with 2020 By-Laws (see Report).

  5. Motion: Create Standing Rule to announce and notice openings of Board seats via submittal of Special Agenda to DONE within 3 days of Board meeting at which opening is disclosed (can be the same date as regularly scheduled Board meeting, as long as it is within 30 days of the disclosure of the opening).

  6. Motion: Notify Boardmembers that By-Laws (2020 version revised by DONE) mandate removal of Boardmember who miss 3 consecutive meetings, or 4 of 5 meetings.

    1. DONE revised By-Laws to make removals automatic in 2020 version. IN previous By-Laws, the Board allowed discretion to remove based on absences (i.e. was not automatic).

  1. Report: Review of status of Jean Shigematsu (At-Large seat), who did not attend 3 consecutive regular meetings (June, July, August).

  2. Population of Santa Monica-Beloit-Olympic-Barrington neighborhood: 8,300 persons, per C. Aranguri’s analysis of U.S. Census data.

    1. Information used in NC resolution to request public park at WLA Commons.

  3. General Public Comment: Items not on the Agenda (1-minute minimum per speaker).

  4. Member announcements.

  5. Adjournment.
