The Mayor's 2015/16 City Budget is Ready for Your Review
April 20th was the due date for the Mayor's Annual Budget and it was right on time. It's available for your review. The Mayor has an interactive website that will let you glance at the surface or drill deeper into his thoughts on spending: http://www.lamayor.org/openbudget.
The next Budget steps will be for the LA City Council to review and advise amendments prior to approval. There may be a few changes but, mostly, it will be the version that you see here. We can all work together to make the 2016/17 Budget the one that makes the most sense for our community but we'll need to start soon!
