The Department of City Planning has prepared a proposed Zoning Code amendment to modify the City's regulations concerning the provision of bicycle parking in new and enlarged buildings. All interested persons are invited to attend a public hearing on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at which you may listen, speak, and submit written information relating to the proposed amendment.
Attached is the official hearing notice with details of the time and location of the hearing. The text of the proposed amendment is also attached, as is a Questions and Answers document summarizing the key elements of the proposed amendment, along with other information. These documents will be posted shortly at http://planning.lacity.org -- click "Ordinances" and then "Proposed Ordinances."
Following the hearing, the Department will consider all input received and prepare a staff recommendation report for the consideration of the City Planning Commission. The Commission is tentatively scheduled to consider the proposed amendment at its regular meeting on January 12, 2017.
