Expo Phase 2 Train Testing

We have been informed that intermittent train testing activities are scheduled to start on Monday, April 6, 2015.  A train vehicle will travel at low speeds between Venice Boulevard and Military Avenue, and will cross the intersections using flaggers as the crossing gates will not be activated at this time.  The contractor anticipates that the crossing gates may be activated the week of April 20, 2015, and regular train testing will continue.

The train testing crews will be using the recently activated signals at Bagley Avenue and Overland Avenue when crossing these intersections.  The Westwood Boulevard traffic signals are scheduled to be activated the week of April 13. 

Testing will be ongoing for several months until the project is turned over to Metro for pre-revenue operations.
