Volunteer for the 2016 Homeless Count

Registration is now open for the 2016 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count which will take place January 26 - 28, 2016. You can sign up now at  www.theycountwillyou.org where you can also find out more information about ways to partner with LAHSA in support of the Homeless Count. If you volunteered for the 2015 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, thank you again for lending your time and talents to the critical effort to end homelessness in Los Angeles.

Because of you:

  • Our 2015 Homeless Count was the largest homeless census in the nation, bringing together more than 5,500 volunteers who counted 89 percent of the County's census tracts - a powerful demonstration of hands-on community engagement.
  • We gathered valuable data about the homeless men, women and children among us.
  • We shined a light on this critical issue and helped raise awareness of the problem.
  • Individuals, businesses and communities came together and created new pathways for involvement.

We hope we can count on you to volunteer with us for 2016! Please tell a friend...
