Community Clean Up Day Success
On June 6th, West LA residents came together to clean up our community! In 2 hours we made a big difference. Thank you to everyone that volunteered!

Council Approves Minimum Wage Increase
The Los Angeles City Council approved the motion originally submitted by Councilman Mike Bonin and his colleagues Nury Martinez, Curren Price Jr. and Gil Cedillo May 19th, taking a major step forward toward raising the minimum wage in Los Angeles to $15.

Expo Phase 2 Train Testing
We have been informed that intermittent train testing activities are scheduled to start on Monday, April 6, 2015. A train vehicle will travel at low speeds between Venice Boulevard and Military Avenue, and will cross the intersections using flaggers as the crossing gates will not be activated at this time.
